Innovative freezers

At Anuga FoodTec, GEA Refrigeration Technologies will premiere no fewer than three new freezer series. The GEA Maxi-Stack™ is entirely new in the product portfolio of this freezer provider. The GEA Maxi-Stack™ is a spiral freezer with GEA Q-belt™ self-stacking conveyor system. This belt offers the advantage of eliminating the rails supporting the belt, which means greater freezing output with the same footprint. GEA Maxi-Stack™ is available for freezing capacity up to 3,500 kg/h. The GEA Q-belt™ outlasts and outperforms the existing self-stacking systems through more robust and reliable belt interlocking. The GEA Q-belt™ system is therefore also effectively suited for replacement of outdated self-stacking systems.

With the GEA Maxi-Stack™ spiral freezer featuring the GEA Q-belt™, GEA Refrigeration Technologies presents the most space-effective and reliable self-stacking spiral system available.

GEA will likewise present two additional spiral freezer ranges with new names and enhanced design. The A-Tec series (Aerofreeze design and manufacturing) represents the ultimate in hygiene standards and offers a high-quality, fully welded stainless-steel floor, enclosure, and structure designed to be cleaned with a Clean-In-Place (CIP) system. A-Tec freezers are designed for up to 7,000 kg/h throughput of frozen products. To satisfy the strict hygiene requirements necessary here, extremely efficient CIP options are available, including a recirculating system.

The enhanced E-Tec series (Eurotek design and manufacturing) is designed to assure flexibility and great reliability. E-Tec spiral freezers serve the output range from 500 to 7,000 kg/h. They are pre-assembled in factory to minimize the installation time by up to 40 %. This assures reduction in production down times for replacement investments.
